On 30 December 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received the employees of our Embassy in France, who were declared persona non grata by the French Republic on 27 December without any grounds.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked the Embassy employees for their effective diplomatic service.
It was stated that this groundless step taken by France is yet another blow inflicted by the aforementioned country on the existing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and France.
It was noted that the reason for the tension prevailing in bilateral relations is the French side, which demonstrates a biased position against our country and takes groundless steps.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov wished the Embassy employees success in their future diplomatic activities.
