On 11 December 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba within the framework of the meeting of foreign ministers of the European Union Eastern Partnership countries held in Brussels.
The Ministers emphasized the importance of the friendly and partnership relations existing between the two countries.
The sides exchanged views on prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in various fields, including transport, energy and humanitarian areas.
The continuation of cooperation on multilateral platforms, including activities in a number of areas within the framework of GUAM, was noted.
During the meeting, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed the other side about recent developments in the region and the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also conducted on other bilateral and regional cooperation issues of mutual interest.
