No:675/23, Press release on the special issue of “Diplomacy World” journal dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev

The 59th special issue of “Diplomacy World” journal, published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been released.
The aforementioned special issue of the journal, published since 2002, is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
The special issue, which begins with the Order of Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on declaring 2023 as the “Year of Heydar Aliyev,” also includes articles by a number of state officials of our country, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Religious Associations Mubariz Gurbanli, former First Vice-President of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), the late Khoshbakht Yusifzade, member of the Milli Majlis Musa Gasimli, as well as Director General of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov).
The special issue also features interviews, articles and speeches reflecting the memories of a number of statesmen of foreign countries, including former President of Moldova Petru Lucinschi, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Lasha Darsalia, the last Minister of Foreign Affairs of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia Budimir Lončar, Rector of Ankara University Necdet Ünüvar, People’s Writer of Kazakhstan Olzhas Suleimenov, former Honorary Consul of our country in the U.S. state of New Mexico Art McHaffie, and other persons about Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
At the end of the journal, the commemorative declaration adopted in connection with the 100th anniversary of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev at the Ministerial Meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement held in Baku on 5-6 July of the current year was published.
