No:649/23, Press release on the meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov with President of the House of Councillors of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Morocco Naam Miyara

On 13 November, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with President of the House of Councillors of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Morocco Naam Miyara within the framework of his official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Morocco in bilateral, as well as multilateral platforms, including within the framework of the UN and the Non-Aligned Movement, and on regional and international issues.
Satisfaction was expressed with the development of bilateral political relations, and mutual support within the framework of international organizations was highly appreciated.
It was confidently noted that interparliamentary cooperation based on respect and trust contributes to the development of relations between our countries, and in this regard, the importance of mutual high-level visit exchanges was emphasized.
It was noted that the development of the bilateral legislative framework between our countries, as well as the agreements signed between the two countries in the fields of energy, logistics, environment and other areas within the framework of the visit, will make a positive contribution to bilateral relations.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided the other side with detailed information about Armenia’s occupation of the territories of our country for many years and the situation in the region in the post-conflict period.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also conducted on other issues of mutual interest.
