No:629/23, Press release on the meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov with Prime Minister of Romania Marcel Ciolacu

On 6 November 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Prime Minister of Romania Marcel Ciolacu within the framework of his official visit to Romania.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the level of traditional friendship and strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Romania, and emphasized that the intensification of mutual visits, high-level dialogue, as well as political consultations on a regular basis, will give impetus to the development of cooperation between the two countries in economic, humanitarian, security, education and other new areas.
The importance of developing the multidimensional strategic partnership between the two countries was touched upon, and an exchange of views was conducted on the development of interparliamentary relations and the strengthening of cooperation within the framework of regional and international organizations.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed the other side about Azerbaijan’s plans for establishing sustainable peace in the South Caucasus region and the practical steps taken in this direction, as well as the normalization agenda with Armenia.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was conducted on new areas of cooperation and other topics of mutual interest.
