No:600/23, Press release on the meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan

On 18 October 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan within the framework of his participation in the extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, held at the ministerial level in the city of Jeddah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, regarding the latest developments in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict zone.
During the meeting, the agenda of bilateral strategic allied relations, issues of cooperation within the framework of international organizations, the latest developments in the region, as well as prospects for the peace agenda between Azerbaijan and Armenia were discussed.
An exchange of views was conducted on the issues discussed at the 27th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization held in Shusha, and the participation of the two countries in events to be held in multilateral formats by the end of the year.
The Ministers also discussed developments taking place in the wider region.
