During the meeting, the current level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar, issues on the agenda, and prospects for the development of cooperation in various fields were discussed, and it was emphasized that high-level mutual visits and political consultations carried out between our countries are important in terms of the further development of relations.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also informed the other side about the challenges posed to regional peace and security for nearly 30 years by Armenia and the so-called regime established by it in our country, and spoke about the reasons necessitating the local anti-terror measures carried out by Azerbaijan in its sovereign territory in full compliance with international humanitarian law. In this regard, hope was expressed that ending the presence of illegal Armenian armed forces, which constituted the main threat in the region, would serve peace and stability in the region.
