Ms. Valovaya’s visits to Azerbaijan since 2022 and the high-level and highest-level meetings held within the framework of these visits were recalled with satisfaction, and gratitude was expressed to the head of UNOG for the conditions she has created for strengthening cooperation between the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan in Geneva, as well as other institutions of our country, and UNOG.

During the meeting, the other side was informed about the situation in the region and the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process. Despite Azerbaijan’s peace initiatives in the post-conflict period, Armenia’s provocations were highlighted. Mine threats against our country were particularly emphasized. Facts regarding the groundlessness of allegations about the “humanitarian situation” and “blockade” in the region were noted.
