On 21 June 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with Olta Xhaçka, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania.
During the meeting, the sides conducted an exchange of views on existing cooperation relations between the two countries in the bilateral plane and within the framework of multilateral cooperation formats. Satisfaction was expressed with mutual support within the framework of international organizations.
Jeyhun Bayramov informed his counterpart about the current state of the normalization process of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations in the post-conflict period and the status of negotiations on the peace agreement.
The sides also conducted an exchange of views on cooperation in the field of energy, prospects for the development of bilateral economic and trade relations, regional security issues, as well as other topics of mutual interest.
