No:315/23, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Ľudovít Ódor

On 7 June 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Prime Minister of Slovakia Ľudovít Ódor within the framework of his working visit to the Slovak Republic.
At the meeting, issues on the cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and Slovakia in the political, economic, energy security, cultural, tourism, humanitarian and other fields, including regional and international security issues, were discussed.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated that the existing dialogue, mutual visits and contacts between the two countries, including political consultations, make an important contribution to the development of relations. In this direction, the importance of expanding the existing treaty-legal framework between Azerbaijan and Slovakia towards further developing relations was emphasized, and the importance of the agreement signed within the framework of the visit was noted.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, speaking about the large-scale restoration and construction works carried out in the liberated territories, spoke about the possible contribution that Slovak companies and investors can make to the works being carried out.
Prime Minister Ľudovít Ódor emphasized that Slovakia is interested in further developing relations with Azerbaijan and the importance of continuing efforts in this direction.
At the meeting, an exchange of views was also conducted on other issues of mutual interest.
