On 10-11 May 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Fariz Rzayev paid a working visit to Albania.
Within the framework of the visit, meetings were held with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania Megi Fino, Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Albania Fatmir Çela, Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister of Albania Odeta Barbullushi, Head of the Cabinet of the Speaker of the Parliament of Albania Kosta Barjaba, Advisor to the Speaker Ejona Isufaj, and Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group with Azerbaijan in the Parliament of Albania Anila Denaj.
During the meetings, discussions were held on relations between Azerbaijan and Albania, the current state and development prospects of cooperation in the political, economic, energy and humanitarian fields, including within the framework of international organizations, strategic energy and transport projects implemented on the initiative of our country, as well as regional security and the post-conflict situation.
During the visit, at the meeting held with representatives of Albania’s influential think tanks, an exchange of views was conducted on the foreign policy priorities of our country, Albania-Azerbaijan relations, and the regional situation.
