On 29 March 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov was received by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu within the framework of his official visit to the State of Israel.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu first asked to convey his greetings to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev. He recalled his visits to Azerbaijan with satisfaction. He extended his congratulations on the opening of Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Israel. The Prime Minister stated that Israel is interested in further developing cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted with satisfaction that the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries was marked last year and emphasized that the establishment of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the State of Israel is an example of relations entering a new stage.
During the meeting, the current level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Israel, prospects for the development of relations, and various aspects of cooperation in the fields of security, economic relations and other areas were also discussed.
