No:092/23, Press release on the event held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kyrgyz Republic

On 27 February 2023, an event and exhibition were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
The event was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, employees of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Head of the Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, the Head of the Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, and other guests.
The event began with the performance of the national anthems of both countries.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov reviewed the 30-year development path of Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Republic relations. He stated that the existing friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries stem from the common history and cultural values of our peoples. Emphasizing the special role of the heads of state in the development of relations between the two countries, Deputy Minister Khalaf Khalafov noted the existence of mutually successful activities between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of multilateral platforms. In conclusion, Deputy Minister Khalaf Khalafov expressed his confidence that the multifaceted relations between our countries will further develop on an upward trajectory in line with the interests of our peoples.
Then, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliyev, who delivered a speech, conveyed his congratulations to the event participants on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. He noted that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries, Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan bilateral cooperation has been built on mutually beneficial partnership and friendship, and has successfully developed as a whole in political, trade-economic, scientific-technical, cultural and other fields. Noting that the goal of both countries is to contribute to the development, political and cultural unity of the Turkic world, the Ambassador stated that the state visit of President Ilham Aliyev to the Kyrgyz Republic last year, the signed documents and the views voiced by the leaders laid the foundation for a new stage in the relations between the two brotherly countries.
At the end, the event participants familiarized themselves with the exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
