No:637/23, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić

On 7 November 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Prime Minister Ana Brnabić within the framework of his official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
During the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral strategic relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia, the cooperation agenda on multilateral platforms, as well as the regional and international situation.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the level of traditional friendly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries, based on mutual understanding, commitment to the norms of international law, and mutual support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states.
It was emphasized that regular political dialogue and mutual visits carried out make an important contribution to the existing high-level political relations.
During the meeting, it was recalled that last year marked the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia, as well as the 1st anniversary of the establishment of the Strategic Partnership Council. The importance of issues arising from the existing strategic partnership, particularly the development of relations in the fields of investment, economy, trade, infrastructure, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, transport and energy, was stated.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also conducted on other issues of mutual interest on the cooperation agenda between the two countries.
