No:602/23, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar

On 18 October, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar within the framework of his participation in the extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to be held at the ministerial level.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the existing cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates at the bilateral and multilateral levels, issues of cooperation in the fields of energy and economy, and the latest developments in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict zone.
Satisfaction was expressed with the existing level of high-level political dialogue between the two countries, and the importance of carrying out mutual high-level visits was emphasized.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided the other side with detailed information about the threats arising from Armenia’s latest military-political provocations, the factors that necessitated the anti-terror measures carried out by Azerbaijan against Armenian armed forces and the so-called regime in our territory, and the current situation in the region after the measures carried out.
During the meeting, the sides also discussed other regional and international issues of mutual interest.
