On 28 September 2023, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov conveyed his condolences to the brotherly state and people of Uzbekistan in connection with the explosion that occurred near the international airport in the city of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, and wished recovery to those injured as a result of the explosion.
During the telephone conversation, issues on the existing bilateral cooperation agenda between the two countries, as well as the current regional situation, were also discussed.
Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov thanked for the message of condolences and support, and stated that this support is another indication of the relations between our countries based on friendship, brotherhood and solidarity.
During the telephone conversation, an exchange of views was also conducted on other issues of mutual interest.
