The Minister also stated that at the 2023 Ministerial Meeting held in Baku, NAM member states agreed that they would work with the Group of 77 and China on the establishment of a UN Specialized Agency for South-South cooperation, with its headquarters to be located in a developing country. It was stated that South-South Cooperation reflects the joint actions of developing countries to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals on the basis of the principle of solidarity.
