No:342/23, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Bujar Osmani

On 21 June 2023, a meeting was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Bujar Osmani.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia, issues on the OSCE agenda, as well as the current state of the peace process were discussed.
At the meeting, the sides emphasized the importance of mutual visits and bilateral meetings at various levels for the development of relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, information was also provided about Azerbaijan’s efforts to eliminate the consequences of the former conflict, and its priorities regarding post-conflict restoration, reconstruction and reintegration works.
Our country’s view on interstate normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia through the signing of a peace treaty, which is the main goal, was conveyed. Armenia’s obstacles and military-political provocations undermining such efforts were noted.
At the meeting, an exchange of views was also conducted on other issues of mutual interest.
