No: 311/26 Press Release on the Drone Attack on a Ship Carrying Citizens of Azerbaijan near the Coast of Odessa

On 14 July, at around 15:15 local time, near the coast of Odessa, Ukraine, the civilian merchant vessel Atlas Bey, belonging to Türkiye's Okean Maritime company, came under drone attack.
11 of the crew members aboard the ship are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to available information, with the exception of the ship's captain, who is a citizen of Azerbaijan, the other members of the crew have been brought ashore in the city of Odessa. Their condition is assessed as satisfactory. Measures are being taken towards the search for the ship's captain.
The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine is maintaining constant contact with the relevant agencies, and is taking the necessary measures towards providing the required consular support to the citizens of Azerbaijan.
