On 12 April, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
During the telephone conversation, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu extended his condolences over the death of Azerbaijani servicemen as a result of Armenia’s provocations on 11 April.
Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized that Türkiye always stands by Azerbaijan.
During the telephone conversation, the sides also discussed bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues on the agenda between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as the current regional situation.
