On 10 March 2023, a meeting was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Louis Bono, Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations of the U.S. Department of State.
During the meeting, the current state of the negotiation process on the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace agreement, issues arising from the meeting held between the leaders during the Munich Security Conference, the provision of communication that will ensure unhindered passage to Nakhchivan, and the current state and prospects of the delimitation process were discussed.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov reiterated that Armenia does not fulfill its obligations within the framework of the Trilateral Statement, has not fully withdrawn its forces from the territories of Azerbaijan, and continues regular military provocations. At the same time, the Minister informed the other side about our country’s views on the issue of reintegration of Armenian residents.
The sides also conducted an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
