Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted with satisfaction the upward development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary in various fields, including political, economic, trade, energy security, education, humanitarian and other areas. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, particularly emphasizing the development of cooperation between the two countries in energy security, including alternative energy, stated that the “Agreement on Strategic Partnership in the Field of Green Energy Development and Transmission between the Governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Hungary,” signed on 17 December 2022, which envisages the use of renewable energy potential in the Caspian and Black Sea regions, including the diversification of energy supplies, makes an important contribution to cooperation in this field.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also informed the other side about the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period, the steps taken by Azerbaijan towards advancing the peace agenda, and Armenia’s military-political provocations undermining this process. At the same time, the Minister provided information on restoration and rereconstruction works carried out in the region.

Satisfaction was expressed with the work carried out within the bilateral economic commission. Referring to Azerbaijan’s role in Europe’s energy security, Minister Péter Szijjártó emphasized the contribution of joint projects implemented in this regard to cooperation.
