No:037/23, Press release on the telephone conversation between Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov

On 27 January 2023, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov made a phone call to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov in connection with the terrorist attack committed against the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Uzbek Minister strongly condemned this act, extended his condolences to the family of the deceased who lost his life as a result of the attack and to the brotherly Azerbaijani people, and expressed his solidarity with the Azerbaijani side.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his gratitude to his Uzbek counterpart and noted that the Azerbaijani side will use all possible means to ensure that those who committed this crime and those who ordered it are held accountable and punished as soon as possible.
