No:190/19, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov departed on a working visit to the capital of the Republic of Peru, Lima
The delegation headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov departed to Lima upon the invitation of Foreign Minister of Peru Néstor Popolizio Bardales.
On the sidelines of the visit Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will attend the 14th Summit meeting of the Presidents of the Member States of the Pacific Alliance (Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Chile) and observer countries, to be held on July 5-6 in Lima.
Within the framework of the Summit a working session will be organized for the observer countries to the Alliance and the opportunities of developing cooperation in various spheres, including transport, innovation and high technology, culture, tourism, education, health, environment and etc. on bilateral and multilateral bases, as well as strengthening the trade relations between the member and observer states will be discussed.
Along with the observer countries, the representatives from the influential organizations such as the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, the European Union, the OSCE and the Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization are expected to attend the Pacific Alliance Summit.
